How to Live Life

Now that I'm doing the job that I want, how do I get used to just living my everyday life? Great question! I have no idea. I'm excited about the prospect, though. I've been thinking about sorts of things I would like to have in my daily life, and I've come up with the following list of things I'd like to include:

  • Exercise: Both necessary and in the form of a connection with nature and endorphins. I'm thinking walking outside in the morning at some time, then walking on the treadmill in the afternoon, and maybe a few times a week including some sort of (short) dance workout. Tom's going to help me put the punching bag holder back on the porch so I can use it, too.
  • Eating Better: I'm trying to make lunch my meal to cook the Every Plate stuff. It works out sometimes, sometimes not. I'll work on it.
  • Meditation: Again, I want to get better connected with myself and use that lovely station I created a year ago for this purpose.
  • Writing/Reading: That's why I began this blog; to get back into writing and reading other people's writing. I'm also going to try to incorporate reading for pleasure and reading for professional development in there somewhere, too.
  • Play: PlayStation gaming, planning for DnD, computer gaming; all of those would work.
  • House: The house always needs stuff done, both for maintenance and for improvement. There are cleaning duties, projects, organization, all kinds of things I could do to keep busy, plus I'm overhauling my office for my new occupation and way of life.
  • Crafting: I want to get back into crafting for fun and maybe eventually for other people again. I already ordered some supplies. We'll see how that goes.
Okay, that's enough for now. It has my mind rolling with possibilities. Talk more later.
